Slovakian Death metallers of Goholor are presenting their first offering In Saeculis Obscuris as a cruel and dark record which its main themes are torture, religion and wars during the dark ages.

This first EP is a nice discovery from a band that makes interesting Death metal. The four songs of approximately four minutes each are intense and jammed with great guitar riffs and top-notch drumming.

I hear the best of Incantation and Vader in their music and there’s an intense savagery and an urgency in the songs. They are well edited and at around four minutes each they are well balanced.

The EP In Saeculis Obscuris is promising for the future of Goholor and their understanding of old school Death metal makes it a must for fans of the genre.
